Stories from the field.

Outreach to Padè Village | September 2, 2020 Padè Village is a historic community in Oyo State, Nigeria. The village is made up of mud houses, domestic animals, and many widows and families living in need. The primary occupation of the people is farming. About 70% of the residents depend on farm produce to survive. On September 2, 2020, we visited Padè Village to respond to the severe poverty affecting the community. Our motto is: “The Grace of God Toward Humanity.” We believe God has called us to serve people with love and dignity. Moved by this urgent need, we provided food items and relief materials to bring comfort to the villagers, even if only for a time. Items Donated: • Bags of rice • Bags of beans • Salt • Cartons of noodles • Other essential food items It was a joyful day as all 400 villagers — young and old — came out to receive their share of the gifts. We also encouraged them to put God first in all things and to trust Him for their daily provision. In return, they prayed for us and blessed us with heartfelt words of encouragement. It was an awesome and memorable experience, and every effort was worth it. Special thanks to everyone who donated in cash and in kind to make this project possible.
